Played a Sad Game Today

One Chance is a game on newgrounds where you play as a scientist who is one (if not THE one) of the scientists who discovered the cure for cancer; unfortunately, the cure for cancer is very deadly. At the beginning of the game, you have six days and "one chance," literally.

I had seen Markiplier play the game and thought maybe I would play it myself to see if I can get a better outcome than him because his outcome was sad. Mine was sad too. I had tried to do things a little different than him, though I do regret one decision.

After I did the different decision, I went to work the next day, but then I was attacked. Instead of watching the whole thing played through, I decided to defend myself, which made the attacker go to my home and kill my wife and daughter before hanging himself. I had hoped I saved them and the remaining population, but I didn't. During the last day, instead of going to work, I went to the park where I died. I did not see the point of finding the cure if everyone was dead, and as I watched what looks like snow fall to the ground, I decided I would try again. I clicked on the link that sent me to the game again and clicked "play," but the same scene played again. I decided I would close out the window and sign in and play the game, but the same scene played again. We really do have "one chance" in the game, and sadly, I died alone.
